Shedding Light, Inc. provides nonprofit organizations with the highest quality yet affordable imaging and design, enabling them to stride forward in today’s sophisticated and technologically competitive marketplace. It is our commitment to build this organization that better positions nonprofit organizations for fundraising visibility through design and marketing solutions, in such a way that can help not only the worthy projects in America, but those in countries whose lack of infrastructures make the operation and promotion of nonprofits even more daunting. Shedding Light is an idea born in the humble village of Vrindavan, India. Two American photographers, Erik Boker and Brian Harmon visited The Guild of Service, a multi-dimensional service organization working on behalf of disadvantaged people throughout India. After making contact with Dr. Mohini Giri, a widely respected Nobel Prize nominee and executive director of Guild of Service, Erik and Brian spent several days photographing for use in an upcoming fundraising initiative. With much interest in the project, Erik and Brian began to quickly grow a roster of new clients, as they set their focus on completing for Dr. Giri the multitude of different projects she is developing throughout the entire country of India. Shedding Light, Inc. is currently filing for 501(c) 3 status.
